ESPN has announced it will offer the HBO series “Game of Thrones” for $5 per episode through December 10.
The promotion is part of ESPN’s “The Dish Network Promotions Week,” which will feature “Game Of Thrones” specials, specials from other networks, “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The series has a production budget of $4.4 million and is based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series.
The show is being produced by HBO and executive produced by David Benioff, D.B. Weiss and David Benenson.
The series is also co-produced by the HBO production company, and by HBO Entertainment.ESPN and HBO are co-producing the sixth season of the “Game” show with the help of Benioef, Weiss and Benenson, who also serve as executive producers.
The HBO production is also executive producing the season finale of “Game.”
