Uber CEO Travis Kalanick has reportedly been in touch with several of Uber’s senior executives, including its CEO, and the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
The Post reports that Uber’s CEO and CFO have been in constant contact with senior executives at Uber, who are all discussing a new partnership with Uber, and it’s possible that the discussions will eventually lead to a new round of capital for the company.
Kalanicky has been in a relationship with Uber since 2016, but was forced to resign last year when the company went public.
It’s possible this new relationship will allow Kalanicks to work more closely with the executives in charge of Uber, which are also Uber’s top brass.
Kalonick, who left the company earlier this year to work on his own business venture, has reportedly made the decision to return to Uber.
He was the CEO of the ride-hailing company for seven years before taking on the position of CEO last fall.
He is currently leading Uber’s strategic and strategic leadership team, and is expected to step down at the end of the month.
It is unclear how this new partnership will impact Uber’s operations.
Kalanos Capital and Lyft have been working on a partnership to bring the two companies together.
